Something went majorly wrong. I guess I can agree that FEMA and Homeland "Security" was pretty lax, but so was our president. When the Twin Towers collapsed killing 2,500 people and decimating several New York City blocks, Bush was on TV that very night consoling the nation.
Somehow this massive natural disaster within our own country didn't distress or even worry him....he went golfing the next day.
Hiis lack of compassion at the outset was remarkable for someone who considers himself OUR Commander-in-Chief; but if you've read my other post elsewhere, I beleve that our ships, personnel and MRE's were on their way to Iran, and had to be turned back.
Just a guess, but a good one, I'll bet.
