I want to be clear...my remarks are not "partisan." They have nothing to do with partisan politics. They have everything to do with the competence of our government to deal with matters that affect the lives of millions of people.
THere are people dying at this very moment in New Orleans. They are dying because they have not water, foors, shelter, clothing or medical assistance. While we could not have stopped the hurricane, we could now be saving lives if only we had properly prepared and if only we had not squandered precious resources on other misadventures.
And, yes...I am angry. We all should be angry.
