Flame » in reply to No difference between what you are doing and what Don is doing

Oh, get real.

Don & Bowsers are poster-children for incivility and unsympathetic behavior here at the HZ. When Robert, the HZ boards owner, asked for cessation of blame posts - the response was an unmistakable "f-u Robert, you traitor to the anti-Bush agenda, we see an opportunity to criticize Bush and we take it! This is legitimate, we are obsessed and we don't shut up."

It was actually quite informative as it was entertaining. Three (3!) moderators had appealed for compliance and the robot-like breying continued absolutely unabated.

Courtesy? If you post a death toll regularly , you don't give a damn about feelings or courtesy. Laws? Copyright? Everyone knows civil servants are above that private sector stuff and break more laws than anyone else. Feeding on the public trough keeps 'em out of touch but they especially hate those who feed on the public trough higher up where it's richer and the perks are better. Nothing offends a public servant so much as another public servant!

Tom, has been on the defensive. Claiming Bush is responsible for death in New Orleans is a grand claim, especially when a civil servant like Don should know how utterly asinine his and other folks comments about Bush culpability are. Grand claims require substantive evidence to substantiate.

All I've seen Tom do is try to counter claims made here and elsewhere about this all being Bush's fault when EVERYONE with half a brain knows it's the regional government's failure on a grand scale combined with extreme misfortune that we have witnessed.

Bush has screwed up on addressing immigration. He's screwed up on giving a plug to intelligent design. He's sure as heck not too blame for hurricane devastation.

I would love to say that trying to equate Tom's posts and behavior with Don & Bowser's posts and actions is beneath you, but that would be untrue.

It's not beneath you.
