"The primary message is that each person is primarily responsible for themselves, for their own family and friends," Truehill said."

Jeez, I said exactly the same thing and was lambasted for it!

Personal responsibility? The poor? Walk in a storm?

Yet that is exactly what happened from the editorial we have this quote:

There were thousands of people at the Convention Center because the riverfront is high ground. The fact that so many people had reached there on foot is proof that rescue vehicles could have gotten there, too.

Flashback to Lindy's hysterical, anti-German comments:

Honestly SDAI, I really don't know where you get your lack of compassion for the human race, because I think you actually detest it. Maybe it's the German in you.

I find your quip about "they should have had this mass exodus out of New Orleans by WALKING out of it" is INSANE.

Looks like it wasn't so INSANE after all huh? Personal responsibility isn't quite as CRAZY when it is the official New Orleans evacuation policy.

"The primary message is that each person is primarily responsible for themselves, for their own family and friends," Truehill said."

So do Nagin & Truehill hate poor blacks too? Is he a racist for expecting residents to basically pick up their bed and walk? Or is he just "INSANE"?

Don't worry, I don't expect any apologies anytime soon.
