The increased radiation output will start changing all sort of things.
Here is what I suspect will happen when the sun's output just goes up about 3%:
A 10% global thinning of the ozone layer and increased radiation all over the earth's surface because of the influx of high energy particles that overwhelm and bypass the Van Allen belts.
Skin cancer incidence will be up 10%-15% all over the world.
Freak heat waves in various spots with temperatures reaching 125-130 degrees. Likewise freak cold waves with spots dropping to -30 degrees.
Summers in the US, most of South America, China & South East Asia averaging 110 degrees - nearly everywhere.
Summers in Europe, Canada, Russia averaging 90-105 degrees
Present coastlines will disappear at first, only to reappear decades later after increased radiation creates increased evaporation. Flooding, hurricanes and "warm storms" will be the order of the day. Fortunately, this water vapor will act as a shield to the painful solar radiation.
With global warming, the earth must be prepared for both extremes: cold and heat. Failure to prepare for either will result in lost lives and increased suffering.
We have a rocky road ahead. We must prepare to generate five times as much power globally as we presently do. Nuclear reactors, solar power and wind power will provide "clean" energy. It will be expen$ive, but will also save many lives.

- A very old idea, and a good one.
