But I live in Florida, and I know better. The voter suppression here was obvious and pervasive, and engineered by our beloved Governor Skinhead Scott. Election officials from all over the state were complaining his new policies would make it difficult for people to vote, particularly minorities. And they most certainly did.
But it backfired. People who hadn't voted in years stayed in line for hours, often missing work and staying up in some precincts till late at night just so they could vote. And you guys lost Florida big time, along with several other states where you had pulled the same gag and where it backfired too (Remember Pennsylvania, how it was "checked off for Romney" by that All-American bullet-headed Saxon mother's son Turzai, the GOP state chairman?).
