As far as your own scientific abilitites go, you have failed once again to address the fundamental data: the rate of ozone depletion fell after the Challenger grounding, and has fallen once again after the Columbia grounding, which pretty much accords with THEIR theories' predictions.

Clearly you know how to use the search engines, and if you want to find the original sutdies that the AF studies were done in response to, you can find them as well. If you're real good, you might even be able to locate the original researchers - but that's not too likely.

This is something that I have tried to forget about for about 12 years now. I'm still looking for a way to escape responsibility - any moral duty to report on it. About the best excuse I can come up with right now is that Griffin said this morning that the lander was conjectural - that still leaves room open for implimenting CAPS. If that window closes, if he goes back to simply testing a manned Mars lander, I will probably have to work real hard to find some other excuse not to report on it.
