VMOs

Hi SteveS

Some theorists believe the first stars were Very Massive Objects (VMOs) which were maybe 200 - 1000 times the mass of the Sun. These would've lasted maybe ~ 3 million years and formed within about 100 million years of the Big Bang which is at z = 30. I doubt even their cataclysmic detonations would be detected from so far away.
