I took my wife to see Serenity on Saturday. I had seen one of the firefly episodes and my wife had seen none of them. I like it a lot, but wished I had seen the episodes. My wife liked it enough to called all the video rental places in town to see if they had the episodes on DVD. Nobody did. Guess I might end up buying the DVD now. I normally don't buy DVD's since I rarely watch anything more than once though. DVDs either get played once and then sit on the shelf or get played till they wear out or worse, till I wish they'd wear out. Dora the Explorer and Blues Clues fall into that category.

I was shocked that they killed off main charachters. I hadn't been forewarned, nor did I expect it. I really thought that there was a possibility of all of them dieing.

I liked the storyline. I'd like to see something similar done with Asimov's Foundation books. Its the starving edge of civilization where the interesting stuff happens.
