Do I need to start posting links to stuff that has been moved to OT that is of the same character?

If the ModSquad is not going to move it, please let us know why, and why it is different (aside from the poster) from the other things that were moved.

This is just damaging dishonesty that does nobody any good. Dissemenation of it only provides it with more bandwidth to reach more 'true believers' who lack the facility or will to employ basic evaluative techniques. While I would gladly go put my life on the line to defend the rights of those who want to spout it, I point out that nobody is required to give this tripe a forum.

I know a significant minority here feel uneasy to at least a small degree about this stuff being supported, given a forum for transmission and encouraged here- its been the ignition point of many community firestorms. While it was decided that this board would provide offensive 'anti-reason' such as this a forum, it was agreed that it would stay on Off Topic. I took that agreement as important, it was an agreement that brought a certain level of peace to the parties here. If this consensus is going to be reversed, that is not a 'small thing' and deserves comment from the ModSquad in whole or in part.
