Politics is just ONE FORCE at work among many that make up the world.
Certainly things have changed and morphed since the Leave It To Beaver days. You have an administration that basically trashed 20 years of good scientific knowledge on the environment for corporate gain and cronyism. Illegal re-districting to win votes, cover-ups to prevent investigations which would normally have important heads rolling.

Need I say more? You Tom, are the only one unfazed and in denial of the downward spiral politics has taken in this country. Why, you're not even outraged that the Vice President's Chief of Staff and the advisor to the President leaked an important CIA undercovers name in retribution for a slight about one of their major lies. YOU are the one who amazes me, with your rose colored glasses.
Get real for a change and own up to the truth.
