Miers hearings are going to go badly...
Even as we speak, squadrons of Democratic aides and legal advisors are writing up complex legal questions to plug into Teddy "Ruskin" Kennedy's squawk box to hit Meirs with. Roberts excelled at the hearings, blowing the Democratic prepared questions away like a leaf, once or twice leaving it painfully obvious that the Senators didn't really know what the questions meant either.
I don't think Miers is going to do that well. We'll see. Wouldn't break my heart if Bush had to go back to the well.
