One can only expect thugs to continue as they have begun. I don't expect anything better of the Friends of Saddam than to kill officers of the court. It would be nice to be pleasantly surprised, but frankly... no, it probably won't happen.

When the people on the opposite side begin to behave in the same way, it shows a fundamental lack of understanding of legal justice vs. blood feud "justice". To kill a defense attorney because one hates the defendant indicates such confused thinking. For that reason, I truly hope this was the act of a distraught person, and not part of an organized group that believes justice is best sought not through court rulings but by street murders.
