Heh -- I'm with you on that issue.
What really galls my stones is the blackmail the owners always pull during questions of stadium renovation or replacement. "If we don't get what we want, we're taking the team to another city!"
To which I say: "OK, bye!" 'specially to the Royals of this past season (106 losses), and the one before it (104 losses). I mean, who'd miss them?
That article I linked to mentioned that angle in its other guise, civic paranoia: "But... if we don't give them what they want, they might leave!"
So what? Let 'em be some other city's embarrassment.
