I always wanted to be a scientist, dreamed of making new discoveries when I was a kid
I poured over books on relativity and particle physics while I was still in high school. I had subscriptions to Science. I got awards for reports I did in chemistry and biophysics. I had the highest grade in nearly all my classes in my graduating year. So I went on to pursue a degree at university. I struggled though university, failing but never giving up, finally getting a bachelor's degree. The cutoff average for admission to the master's program was about 12 percent higher than I could achieve. Man, when doors shut, they slam shut. I'm a line worker in a factory now. F#$k science.
