So now you're saying that it doesn't matter that the Republican Party is promoting Creationism and antiscientific attitudes because those initiatives don't always become law.
Uh huh. I should be reassured why? That Republicans don't really mean it, and are just being hypocritical to satisfy a constituency? Or are you saying that Republicans, despite their electoral success in recent years, are actually politically incompetent?
Who cares? They're trying, and that's all that counts. Even if it's hypocrisy, they might "accidentally" pass more antiscience laws.
