I had been hoping for at least a Congressional delay on this, but no such luck. Of course, once an entitlement has metasized through a significant population of voters, it becomes immortal, immune to cost-cutting, and any private solutions used before wither on the vine.
Remember this, fifteen years from now, when the cost of this program, like all similar ones, has grown far beyond even the most pessimistic predictions.
