How in the world could an oppressed people ousted Saddam. They were starving and they had no weapons. They lived in fear from his KGB/Gestapo type regime. You are totally delusional if you thank the Iraqis had a chance in toppling Saddam. In fact, the ones that tried after we left got slaughtered.

That is like saying, “There was no need for the Civil War. It was a quagmire. It was only a matter of time before the slaves would have overthrown their masters.”

Saddam would have ruled until he died. Then his murderous, cruel sons would have taken over. Our children would have to deal with him and this mess. Now, thanks to our President, by the time our children take over the country, Iraq will be free, and freedom will be spreading throughout the Middle East.
