re: Yes I am trying to come to grips with the accepted wisdom and

The inability of intelligent people to understand anything that deviates slightly from the presently accepted wisdom.

The pinnacle of accepted wisdom concerning the structure of the universe, as I understand it, is embodied in the formula that Mr. Einstein figured out one hundred years ago.
I studied that formula and came to the conclusion that it was not complete, because it did not explain where, how, and why gravitational acceleration occurs in the vicinity of mass, also it left questions to be answered in all other areas where the observed effects of fields presented themselves.
My studies led me to a path that was very simple in the area of mathematics and gave the same conclusions as Einstein's.
Not only does the new formula explain the mass energy relationship, it also explains the source of all the other fields such as magnetic, electric, and gravitational.

If it was not for the hard work of all the intelligent people in the past, I surely would not have been able to decipher the meaning hidden within mass and space.
One of the great scientists of yesteryear said something to effect that: If I have seen further, then it is because I stood on the shoulders of giants. (sorry I don't remember who) That certainly applies to me, without the work of Einstein and others before and after him, I would not have been able to formulate the new one.

I often wonder what those great people would have done if they had the computing power and the information base that we have today with computers.

"Now on the other hand, I did feel this other post of yours went way off the deep end, and concluded that I'd wasted my time.

I sincerely hope that you give at least one more quick answer, this simply to clear up my curiosity and help me in understanding the mind set of a physicist, for you do have a good understanding of modern day physics. (At least in my humble opinion.)
My question is: What exactly, in that post, was the deep stuff that turned you off?
Was it the fact that I used words from another language as a reference to some English words, or was it the fact that there was a reference to some writing that is much older than one hundred years, or did you find something wrong with the math, or was it something else?

"In his own lifetime Bach's music was often used as lunchwrapping paper"

It is a shame to say the least, that many great works are not appreciated or understood at the time that the discoveries or creations are made.

Thank you Daniel for your impressions and best wishes.

May you and yours have a safe and joyful holiday season.

That wish is also extended for everyone that reads and/or participates on HZ. (Including RL) (;-ö)
By the way, I like music and singing old songs. Some of the song tunes that I really enjoy, originated in Germany.:-)
