Apollo 13's RTG

The one that was supposed to be left on the Moon to power the science instruments instead came back to Earth and is now sitting on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Yes, it survived re-entry and apparently has never leaked since 1970.

I think the anti-nukers go after space probes for the same reason that animal rights fanatics dump blood and red paint on little old ladies with fur coats - they wouldn't dare do the same to bikers wearing leather jackets.

If you can't go after the nuclear weapons bunch - probably because other activists already have that area covered - make a name for yourself with the space probes. NASA looks easier to attack, too. And everyone has heard the old saw about spending so much money on the space program when it could be spent right here on Earth.
