Going through a solar maxima with a massive hole in the ozone

http://www.spacedaily.com/news/ozone-05k.html

The size of the ozone hole is behaving exactly as predicted by the aluminum catalyst model, but this team points out that variation in high altitude temperatures may explain the variation in the freon-ozone reaction. Of course, one is then left with the problem of explaining the variations in high altitude temperatures.

The rise in UV passed through may explain the temperature increase in the Artic.

In either case, solar activity has declined, as the Jupiter gravity effect predicted, and further,
by this model we should see a global decline in temperatures within the next few years.

In the meantime, the farmers here in Illinois are facing another year of drought, along with high fuel, fertilizer, and pesticide costs due to the effects of Huricane Katrina.
