Space/Science » in reply to yes the moon is effectively a new mission

re: Plenty of spectacular landscapes on the Moon!

Yes, the Moon has loads of extremely interesting and spectcular landscapes and very often, the Earth could be part of it too!

Astronauts with cameras on their spacesuit could share with us the sensations of lower gravity, of silence and the game between shadow and light provided by the landscape.

And we'd naturally have much better live views of the Moon than we could 33 years ago.

The astronaut could spot a shiny little rock, bounce towards it (perhaps miss a step and collapse and we'd all be frightened with Aahh's our "Ouch" or "Aïe" at home), then recover, get further and bent his knees and with his gloved hand pick it, get it closer and closer to the camera and geologists worldwide would scream with happiness because he had just found "what they were looking for"!
