Google: "fullerenes hydrogen absorption"

Fullerenes ARE used for hydrogen storage, but not in the way you meant.... as I remembered they are a sponge for hydrogen... what happens to their strength when saturated by hydrogen I dont know, but it may change dramatically- google: "steel hydrogen embrittlement"
