Gore ignored the law to get his pet project funded

Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) just about make the tax code look simple, but they're there for a reason. Gore ignored several aspects of the FARs as well as the Commercial Space Act in order to artifically lower the price of his boondoggle project. That money could've been better used for real science projects. Just because you're willing to ignore the law when broken by Democrats, it doesn't mean that the rest of us are.
