"Odd Mind" = Robert (like you needed the identification?)
I think punsters have a natural weakness for anagrams too. A lot of my puns come from dyslexically rearranging the letters of a word. And I'd guess that anagrams must be a nightmare for dyslexics; they must experience a sense that reality's crumbling when the letters run around and refuse to stay put.
My rational mind knows that anagrams are no more meaningful than numerology...except the [excrement]-stirring part of me keeps arguing that we have a different relationship to numbers than we do to words, and the looser rules of production of language allow us to associate arbitrary meaning with arbitrary sequences of letters that might survive rearrangement.
How do you explain that Bush's former press secretary's name anagrammizes to "Ser Chief Liar"? I tried "Scott McClellan" with little luck--he must've been chosen for his anagram-proof name.
I turned to "george bush", and the results are amazing. While "He Bugs Gore", it's also the case that sometimes Dubya "Be Gore Hugs" and "Be Gores Hug"--who'd have thought Dubya could be so sentimental? Be Ego Shrug, Be Ogre Gush, Be Surge Hog, Bug Urge Hogs, Be She Go Rug, Beer Hog Gus, Beer Hugs Go, Beg Ego Rush, Beg Surge Ho, Beg Urges Ho, Beg Hose Rug, Beg Rose Hug, Beg Eros Hug, Beg Sure Hug, Beg User Hog, Beg Ruse Hog, Buggers Hoe, Bugger He So, Bugger Shoe, Bugger Hose, Bugger Hoes, Herb Gouges, Herb Use Gog, Rebus Egg Ho, Bog Gee Rush, Bog Urges He, Borg See Ugh and Borg See Hug, Grubs Gee Ho, Grubs Ego He, Grub Goes He, Bugs Here Go, Bugs Ego Her, Bugs Ogre He, Bugs Here Go, Bug Ere Hogs, Hob Egg User, Shrub Gee Go!, Brush Gee Go!, Hubs George, Bush Egg Roe, Hub See Grog, Hub Egg Rose, Hub Egg Eros, Hub Egg Sore, Rob Gee Hugs, Rob Egg He Us, Rob Egg Hues, Rob Eggs Hues, Robs Gee Hug, Robs Egg Hue, Rubs Gee Hog, Rubs Egg Hoe, Rub Gee Gosh, Rub Gee Hogs, Rub Egg Hose, Sub He Grog, Sub Egg Hero, Sub Gorge He, Bus Egg Hero...and that's just a sampling.
Lots of anagram generators on the Net. http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/ happened to Google up first.
Did my own name, and first on the list was "Bed Thresher Pro" and sixth was "Bed Three Hrs Pro"...and there's "Bed Her, Herr Tops" and oh man, "Breed Her Hrs Top", "Bedpost Her Herr".... Oooooookay, I think I'll stop right there...I can see a pattern developing.
