The post-WWII hammock the blue class worker has been living in, where someone can make a big wage by turning a bolt on a line because nobody else in the world is competing with us, is long gone. In a lot of ways, that's too bad, because that period put a lot of people into the middle class. But pretending nothing has changed isn't going to solve the problem, and neither will tired socialist tirades.
