It is the left in the USA that is constantly berating the idea that the media is controlled by corporate interests.
How many times have we heard that Fox is just a right-wing extention of Rupart Murdock's evil political hand?
If it works so well for Murdock, then why don't others buy a piece of the Evil Capitalistic pie?
It shouldn't be all that hard for those rich Middle Eastern Muslims to raise the $2 Billion or so that it would cost to purchase a controlling interest in the New York Times. Then they could swing US public opinion the same way that Murdock is alledged to wield his influence.
You are so blinded by your belief that I am a anti-muslim bigot that you fail to see that it is YOU THAT ARE THE ANTI-MUSLIM BIGOT.
You and your pals on the left are the ones that would start crapping white bricks the moment Muslims started buying up US media outlets.
I on the otherhand, would welcome the competition.
Note: I'd also love to see more hispanic and African American investment in the news media.
Quit complaining and start putting your capital where your mouth is.
