Bush's domestic spying program is yet another example of this administration's abuse of power and tendency to believe what it wants to believe based on dogma rather than data. The justifications for this program are as silly as their hand waves about global warming. It obviously flies in the whole face of the concept of balance of power between the branches of government. The whole power corrupts theme is a foreign concept to this administration.

While this pattern is obvious, claiming he lied about Iraq WMD is just as much bullshit as most of Bush's policies. Any objective review of the years before The GB 2 admin would find this was the general consensus. Or you could just unplug your ears and listen to what the Clinton's have to say on the issue. Given Bush can believe anything he wants based on wishful thinking I'm sure he was quite certain about accepting standing conclusions based on uncertain evidence taken in conjunction with a mountain of circumstantial evidence.
