Even without 9/11, we still would be on the ground in either Iran or Iraq, WE NEED THE BASES for launching covert ops .....Those 36 hr B52 missions from Barksdale, La aren't too good when we want to bomb a foreign target, besides, who's to say we will stop at Iraq?
