re: Hunting: Cheney style
There was an earlier case in PA, where Cheney and a small hunting party shot 420 pheasants at a private hunt club one morning, plus an unknown of ducks. Cheney personally bagged 70 pheasants, which were released from nets in front of the party.
I'm fine with hunting, but you might as well shoot the doves being released at the Olympics, sheesh.

Then again, my late cat's favorite thing in the world to do was to kill birds, kill rodents, just KILL -- slowly, gruesomely, and frequently, for the sheer joy of maiming and killing. But I'll cut some moral slack for a barely-domesticated carnivore with a brain the size of a walnut.
