Police not notified -- oops

dtb — 2/13/2006 5:41:48 AM (archived)

Seriously, the police were not notified until *after* this made it into the newspapers more than 24 hours after the incident. Even then it was the cops seeing the news coverage, not the VP's staff or the club contacting the police. You're legally required to report all shootings, even accidental (at least in Texas). Apparently, the State Police are not happy about that and are investigating.
