I have a couple of Paul Davies' books...
Specifically, The Matter Myth (written with John Gribben) and The Last Three Minutes. As a scientist who writes to a more general audience, he's no Tim Ferris, but he's not bad.
While researching my column for last November's Hiss Quarterly (which I built upon the Anthropic Principle), I was not surprised to learn that a verson of the Strong A.P. has been championed by the ID-iots.
