'the Anthropic Universe' = Intelligent Design? - a refutation.
Think about "intelligent" and "design".
Would "intelligent design" have produced mankind? We can say possibly, within the constraints of DNA, may not have been able given the limited amount of time to do much differently.
Would "intelligent design" produced something on the order of, say, GWB?
As the maroon said, "Res Ipsa Loquiter". Of course not.
Could evolution? Certainly.
