It takes awhile to accept the fact you can't change things, because it's easier to adapt yourself to your surroundings. That's why I'm getting out of Dodge and moving further away from the gulags they're building here in Hurricane Alley.

And actually, I just read a very good article on the conversion of the man who invented "freedom fries", NC congressman Walter B. Jones.
He takes the time to write personal letters to the parents of every US son slain in the Iraq war. He also demanded an apology to the American people from Richard Perle while Perle was testifying in front of the Armed Services Committee last year.

He's an angry Republican who'll be making a difference soon.
I think that the tides have changed for this administration, and no amount of stomping, braying or misuse of patriotic words will give ole Georgie back ANY sense of power. People are beginning to see the whole man in the context of his fibs and his cronies, let alone his miserably failed policies.

We should all be whistling Dixie and waiting for the time we can rebuild this great country. But first, we have to give THEM the boot!
