The most critical thing to do right now is for Iraq to start weeding out the "ringers" in its security forces. This is not going to be easy, since at least one or two in the ministries are seemingly in on the infiltration (like the Interior Minister).

This has always been one of my biggest concerns. The effort to quickly ramp up the army and police in Iraq left the field wide open for infiltration of the ranks.

Right now this is their biggest problem:
