It is the only motivation. You could care less about people who can't afford to buy health insurance because they're too poor, too old, or have pre-existing conditions. People like me, TB. If it wasn't for Medicare and the VA either I or my wife could be dead now. We can't afford medical insurance on the free market. Or perhaps I should say "corporate controlled health care monopoly."
THis is no straw issue to me, pal. It tore me apart and kept me awake nights for years, its all I could think about until I turned 65 last year.
But don't worry. If your income and health benefits get slashed due to unemployment, you'll have access to Obamacare. And there isn't any doubt in my mind you will take full advantage of it.
