But did they still use the classic cheesy SF FX? Or has everything
gone all modern CGI?

What's Dr. Who without the cardboard cutout backgrounds
and Halloween-quality alien costumes? And I mean this as
an endearment, not an insult.

Dr. Who began on November 23, 1963, of all dates to start.

Did you know it was originally designed to teach children about
history through entertainment? Of course somewhere along the
way the Daleks invaded and the history kinda got exterminated.

Dr. Who can regenerate seven times, as I recall. What cycle
number is he at now? What will they do when the seventh one
dies?
