The fact is, employers are getting away with a crime also.

If my employer knowingly hired illegals, I would report the employer to the INS.

Political Correctness is what has created this problem.

I feel sorry for the illegals. They are being exploited. Create a legal guest worker program and enforce the minimum wage laws that are likely being violated. Part of getting the guest worker Visa, should include training so that the worker knows his rights and limitations. Then give the guest workers a way to become American citizens after a certain period of guest worker status if they perform some act of civic service, military service, peace corps, etc...that demonstrates that they want to become a productive, tax-paying citizen of the US.

And oh yeah...Make the guest workers pay all the same taxes (including S.S. tax) that the rest of the working poor are forced to pay.
