I guess if it doesn't effect you, you don't have a problem with it.
It's one thing when your insurance company asks if you smoke. It's another when it's a government condition for using the health exchange.

Bi-annual weigh-ins for those considered obese?
Antabuse injections for people who might drink too much?
What about testing for illegal drug use? To be kept confidential of course.
Smokers are not going to quit smoking because premiums are higher and the charges amount to a punishment.
