It does NOTHING to remove pumice dust. We are probably the only observatory that has to have an alcohol license...

Windex would not help, a 'streakless shine' is about an order of magnitude away from the level of clean I need on my optics... I use optical grade pure ethanol to clean my optics. I actually prefer methanol, but since it is a poison we do not use it...
