re: neat idea
A fascinating idea. There are a couple of issues: could life survive under these conditions, and : could life originate under these conditions, and both are separate (but related) problems. We know that life, once it is underway, is very adaptable, but how constrained are its origins? Is the origin of life robust and accessible under many conditions, or does it arise only under a very limited range of conditions?
