That we have heard so little from the Kurds. No mention of any problems, uprisings, bombings or anything. There just might actually be a measure of success here. My earlier prognostication was that this would be an area of conflict with Turkey as an independent Kurdistan would attempt to form and Turkey simply couldn't allow that.
The quiet from the Kurds is a very promising and a pleasant surprise if it reflects an on the ground reality.
