My laser experience has been with communications, lasers at 1330nm and 1550nm and in the milliwatt power range. Even then, eye care is warranted. And no, those are not 'clock radio' LEDs. Speaking of LEDs though, expect to see Edison's light bulb say 'Goodbye' as long lived LEDs replace the incandescent bulb over the next 2 decades.
