MRO over 2 weeks and no news...bad pr...why not a blog?
You would think NASA and their space mission contractors would get smart about PR. With a billion dolllar mission, I would think they could get someone to blog about the mission with daily blurbs. Hopefully, they will post a tentative aerobraking schedule, and will put up realtime updated orbital paramters. The previous aerobraking craft had this and with was sort of fun to track. As a taxpayer, I find it unacceptable to go over 2 weeks with nary a word. There is just no reason with the ease at which information can be disseminated with the internet these days. I mean someone could take 15 minutes a day out of the mission to keep the public informed.
