The article you posted was very informative with regards to the ethanol and gasohol, and it did answer some of the questions in my earlier post. My limited experience (extremely limited) with regards to automobile fuel in Brazil differs quite a bit with regards to the types of fuels used in Brazil. I noted in a different post that when we visited there, most of the fuel stations we saw (in the Rio area) had LP only, while some had meth, eth, diesel as well.
My limited experience in Brazil differs from the article in that the flex fuel vehicles have a eth or meth tank and an lp tank, rather than the flex being gasohol and ethanol.
Do you have any other links to information regarding a more comprehensive study?
I was under the impression that Brazil produces bio diesel as well, in large quantities, do you have any info on that subject?
