What the hell the point is, isn't too clear. I just wanted to respond to gb's tactic of attacking McGovern as if that was somehow a rebuttal of the guy's exchange with Rummy.

I think part of the reason people are jumping on the incident with relish is that it's a refreshing break from the Stepford Audiences they usually install wherever Bush or a High Official goes. Keeping people away from the President and other High Ones because they might voice a grievance defies the Constitution's protection of the right to petition the government for redress. Score one for the First Amendment!
