I agree and would add a nuclear strike is very unlikely in the middle east because if Iran were to do that, they'd kill a huge number of Palestinians too.
Israel has the nuclear weapon but can't use it either against the suicide bombers.
It would be great if, knowing this, Israel could make the first step disarming the region , an offer Iran would have a hard time refusing.
The nuclear weapon works if the enemy is far, but throughout history, we've mainly seen wars started because of territorial disputes.
The enemy is thus tight next doors and nobody wants radio-active fallout in his own garden.
