Hey, if so, the mistake here is not the blog's fault, but mine.
The whole point of using a broad spectrum of sources is being able to discriminate and figure out what's what. I screwed the pooch by trying to get too much down too fast.
And you might have noticed that the mainstream media hasn't exactly been distinguishing itself in the accuracy department this past year either, and largely for the same reason: trying to get the story in too quickly.
