re: Is there any point to this?

Where did I say that RL's work was wrong?

Ummm, in just about every post you have made in this thread?

I very clearly "translated" that:

their calculations do not give the same results as the "measured" observations.

Well DUH! The point was that the already existing theory was insufficient- we did not come up with the theory, we were evaluating it and learning from how it failed- heck even if I advocated a theory that was wrong I would accept the facts if proven wrong... I am not that wrapped up in it-

Now RL is trying to change his story by saying:
There was an unexplained feature in the data,
In other words, he was clueless.

Yeah, we were clueless, except for the science that was guiding us- but we did real science to reveal the clues and the truth- THAT is what science is about- why the hell would you investigate something when you 'knew' the answer? Your problem is that you think your fantasies count as research- they dont.... REAL research involves falling in love with some ideas and then having to discard them when proof contradicts them. AGAIN we were collecting data and looking at which theories supported the data...

Oh hell, you are too stupid to even understand that simplified version- screw it- you are an idiot- show us your papers, show us the difference that you have made- let me see your peer reviewed papers, let us see that you matter even a little bit in the sciences... prove that you have more to offer than asinine posts on a public board...
