Not so fast, Raoul!
In spite of my pessimistic post, I still believe there is a role for man in space, for exploration and colonization, and eventually, industrial development. But it will depend on two factors, first, a much more efficient means of propulsion than chemical rockets, and second, a guarantee of return on capital investment.
